Volunteering

Our beautiful old hall was built in 1926, replacing the original which was built in 1905 and has always been operated by community volunteers. This hall and its activities have been the centre of the community for many, many years!

 

Volunteering to help the Silver Creek Community Association run and maintain our community hall is rewarding and enjoyable. Come be an active part of your community!

Here are some of the volunteer opportunities that may be of interest to you:

• Join the community association and possibly run for the Board

• Help come up with and organize "fun"d raising events to be enjoyed by all

• Membership drive

• Craft Nights or other adult evenings out.

• Grounds Clean Up

• Dances

• Craft Fairs

• Children's Events
